Swindon Borough Council has a target to create 200MW of green energy, to generate clean power for the grid as well as an income to fund core community services. Chapel Farm was the second solar farm they part funded through Abundance, located on a former landfill site. The council invested £3m alongside our investors to complete the project, which was fully commissioned in early 2017.
