When you are building an investment portfolio you need a range of options to spread your risk and diversify your returns. Each of our company investments is different, and we put you in charge of where you invest and the climate impact you want to make.
Wide range of investments
We have offered over 50 company investments over the years, spanning a range of sectors from green energy and EV charging, through to sustainable forestry. Each offers its own unique climate impact, and a way for you to get your money into the projects you care about.
We expect most of our new investments to be council investments for now, but if you sign up for a free Abundance account, you’ll be the first to hear about any new company investments we launch. In the meantime, if you fancy investing in one of our earlier company investments you can take a look at our marketplace. This is where existing investors look to sell some of their holdings, and gives you the opportunity to broaden your impact investment portfolio.
Access a range of risks, returns and maturities
Over the past decade we have worked with companies from large-scale utilities to small entrepreneurial start-ups, with a wide range of investment returns and term lengths. Individual investment returns range from 4 - 15%, with term lengths from 1 - 20 years.
Detailed due diligence
Every company investment on our platform has undergone thorough due diligence and careful consideration by our investment committee before we list it on the platform. This ensures each investment is appropriate for our investors, that all information provided has been properly checked and that its impact claims stand scrutiny.
Tax-free investing with an Innovative Finance ISA (IFISA)
Our company investments are eligible to be held in an Innovative Finance ISA. That means you can invest using your annual ISA allowance of up to £20,000 and pay no tax on the returns you receive on your company investments.
