Join Sheffield City Council in cutting emissions and tackling climate change

Sheffield City Council has launched an exciting new way for people and businesses to take direct action on climate change — by investing in Sheffield’s future through the Sheffield Climate Investment. This investment gives residents the opportunity to invest as little as £5 in projects that make Sheffield greener and more resilient, letting you play an active role in shaping a more sustainable city.
This investment brings together communities, businesses, and the council to raise funds for local projects that tackle climate change — from renewable energy installations to improving energy efficiency in homes and public buildings.
We have said before that tackling climate change in Sheffield isn’t something the Council can do alone. We need to involve not only the business community, but each and every person who calls this fantastic city home. The launch of the Sheffield Climate Investment shows that we really are in this together and, by working together, we can make a real difference.
