Atlantis Future Energy is part of SIMEC Atlantis Energy, a global developer of renewable and sustainable energy projects in various stages of development. This investment helped fund the work to explore converting the Uskmouth power plant from using coal-fired generation to using waste-derived pellets which will help to address the UK’s non—recyclable waste problems. It also went towards the continued development of a significant tidal power and flood protection system across the Wyre estuary. This investment is part of over £12m raised on Abundance by SIMEC Atlantis Energy from 2017 to 2019 to help fund their pipeline of projects.
